Ironwood Insights Group Welcomes Industry Veteran Ed Ledek as Director of Account Management

Ironwood Insights Group, a leading provider of full-service market research and advanced data collection solutions, is pleased to announce the hiring of Ed Ledek, an accomplished research executive with decades of experience spanning marketing research, consumer insights, and public opinion polling.

 

Ledek brings a rich professional background that includes leadership roles across full-service research firms, data collection companies, sample providers, and online research organizations. His career began with the U.S. Census Bureau, where he gained foundational expertise that would shape his lifelong commitment to methodological rigor and high-quality research execution.

 

Throughout his career, Ledek has developed deep expertise in research design, implementation, project management, and field training. His portfolio includes work across the spectrum of research needs from public policy and political polling at local, statewide, and national levels to traditional and emerging market research applications. He has collaborated on a wide variety of projects, including:

 

• Pricing and elasticity studies

• Attitude and usage (A&U) research

• Concept and product design testing

• Shelf-space optimization

• Branding and communications evaluation

 

Ledek is also widely regarded for his ability to train and mentor research teams. He has taught “Applied Research Methods 101” to researchers around the globe, advancing best practices and strengthening the next generation of insights professionals.

 

Beyond his professional work, Ledek has been an active contributor to the broader research community. He has served in leadership and volunteer capacities with PAPOR, AAPOR, MRA, SWMRA, CMOR, and AAPC, helping plan national conferences, leading committees, and frequently presenting, moderating, and speaking at industry events across the country. When not working, Ledek is an avid traveler, journeying across the U.S. and abroad, and enjoys reading and movies in his downtime.
