The Insights Association is proud to announce two outstanding honorees for 2024: the North Atlantic Chapter as Chapter of the Year, and Michael Everhart (pictured) of the North Central Chapter as Chapter Volunteer of the Year. These honors recognize exceptional leadership, engagement, and impact within the insights community.
The North Atlantic Chapter stood out with a dynamic blend of innovation, connection, and purpose. With double-digit membership growth, top-tier in-person events, and groundbreaking initiatives like the DEI Matters podcast, the chapter continues to set a high standard. Their unmatched commitment to professional development, higher education engagement, and financial stewardship reflects a chapter thriving in both vision and execution.
“This chapter doesn’t just participate in the industry — it leads it,” commented Charlene Darko IA’s Director, Chapters & Councils. “From their highly rated local conference to their strong board leadership and strategic community partnerships, the North Atlantic Chapter exemplifies what it means to deliver value, foster inclusion, and inspire excellence.”
Meanwhile, Michael Everhart, recipient of the Chapter Volunteer of the Year award, has been a cornerstone of the North Central Chapter’s success since 2019. As Director of Partnerships, Michael’s talent for sponsorship development has brought in an average of $20,000 annually, directly supporting conference programming and chapter sustainability. His initiative in integrating the former AMA Cleveland conference added yet another successful revenue stream.
“Michael is known for his thoughtful leadership and unwavering commitment,” commented Alice Butler, Senior Vice President at M/A/R/C Research and an IA Board Director and IA Chapter liaison. “He is both a connector and a mentor — a true force behind the chapter's achievements.”
Added Lisa Herceg, Director of Business Insights at the National Association of REALTORS, who nominated him for the honor, “Michael’s impact is immeasurable. He brings energy, wisdom, and generosity to everything he does. He’s not just a volunteer — he’s the heart of our chapter.”
The Insights Association congratulates both honorees for their exemplary service and dedication to advancing the insights profession.
